Garage DPC, Floor and Re-Plastering Works

Blockwork built garage of the property that was used as general storage come Utility Room was suffering from rising damp to walls and a fractured floor slab. Works involved removal of a significant proportion of the existing concrete floor before relaying with new damp proof membrane prior to a moisture resistant floating floor being laid. This included the building of a raised plinth to aid access to Utility Units and appliances.
A new chemical damp proof course was installed prior to a independent stud wall being build, before installing plasterboard and skimming. Opposing wall had a supporting frame built which was covered in mdf.
General finishing included tidying door reveals and installing new trim and a rough sawn timber skirting board detail.
