Cellar Conversion - Stourbridge
Conversion of existing basement completed in two phases at the clients request to create a storage area and additional "tv zone". Works included completion of underpinning specified by a structural engineer and alterations to the floor to accept a sump and perimeter drainage.
Electrical contractors installed first and second fix wiring including high speed wired internet connection for gaming and general sockets to suit the clients use. Works were also undertaken within the above Living Room to include sound proofing.
Wall and floor membrane was installed prior to a floating floor and independent stud work to the walls to accommodate plasterboard to wall and ceilings. Settles were altered to provide perimeter seating, alongside custom TV cabinet. Entrance stairwell to the cellar was also covered with membrane before framing and plastering.
